Google to end support for native Gmail app on the BlackBerry device

Google has announced that they support and to the discontinuation of the native Gmail application for BlackBerry devices on 22 Of November. Existing users can continue using the application, but no new downloads or support for the BlackBerry app will be after 22 Of November. Google says that BlackBerry users can still get their Gmail either from BIS, BES, or the online Gmail website.

This setting is rather gloomy news for RIM and the BlackBerry, as Google has just created a native Gmail app for iOS and Gmail is a core feature on Android.
